If you have read anything about the 2017 Fit For Felix Challenge, you’ll know that it is all about Swanmore teacher Jon Flynn running 2,017 miles in 2017, with the aim of raising £2,107. Jons last run will be on the morning of Sunday 31st December, and we’ll be joining him to help celebrate his awesome achievement.
It’s time for “The Big Finish”.
This event is for everyone. Bring your children. Bring the dog. Felix will be there too. Meet at the Wickham Community Centre, from where we’ll head north up the old railway line – Jon’s favourite route. After 20 minutes, you’ll turn round and head back for coffee and cake. That way, whether you walk, jog, run, or take your bike, we’ll all get back to the Wickham Centre at the same time. Wear a silly hat. Wear a wig. Wear whatever you like – just make it bright! The last time we held an event like this, over 400 of you turned up! We are expecting the same number this time around, and you will all be most welcome. It’s a fitting way to bring the Fit For Felix campaign to a close, and thank everyone who has taken part. See you there!
