Spare a thought for the Deputy Headmaster of Swanmore Primary School, Jon Flynn. Every morning at 5:30am, Jon pulls his running shoes on and steps outside to complete another small part of his incredible 2017 Challenge – to run 2,017 miles and raise £2,017 for Fit For Felix in 2017. It’s a major undertaking, although Jon will freely admit that he only has himself to blame, as it was his idea!
Yesterday was a big day for Jon, as he completed his first 1,000 miles. It is an incredible achievement. “I won’t lie. I am tired!” he told us afterwards. “However, my recovery time after running is very rapid, so I must be getting fitter!”
You can help Jon beat the target he has set by making sure you put a donation on his Crowdfunding page today. Every little helps Jon get through another morning pulling those trainers on…
Thank you Jon. You are awesome!
